Working with the Kilkenny Leader Partnership to develop and implement clear marketing and development strategies for 8 of the major Kilkenny Festivals.  This is ongoing and involves sustainability, cultural and management development, together with community liaison.

VEC Kilkenny
Irish Wheelchair Association, organising and teaching combined arts and crafts, working with two special needs groups exploring and developing their individual skills.

Mount Carmel Nursing Home, teaching weekly art and craft classes to 20 residents.

2009 (October)

No Grants Gallery, Temple Bar, Dublin
The Chocolate Festival Exhibition - A Collaborative work with poet Carmel Cummins.
The piece is incorporating a poem entitled Theobroma Cacao and a painting inspired by the Dresden Codex and reflecting on the history of Cacao.

2009 (July)

Public Art Commission - one of 6 artists to participate in the Public Art Project at Woodstock Gardens Inistioge, Co. Kilkenny. Culminating in a unique public event held on 26 July 2009 in collaboration with UK public art company Chrysalis Arts and Kilkenny County Council. 
My work included
 “All that was and is Woodstock8 x 78ft mural, now on permanent public display in the gardens.
The Conservatory 4 x 6m A permanent piece which is painted on the wall of the Turner conservatory/tea room.
As part of the public introduction to the event I held a number of adult and children’s community painting workshops and have been asked to organise and teach adult and children’s summer art classes within the Woodstock gardens which will begin summer 2010.

2009 (April) – Present

Ballycallan Arts
I established this after becoming aware of an absence of any artistic teaching in my local community. I now run children’s and adult art classes continuously throughout the year, open to all the community.  I provide school children and pre-school children of all abilities a chance to expand their skills and abilities and to express themselves beyond the school curriculum.  Together with holding adult classes including painting, crafts and restoration.
